ANY GROUP-RELEVANT POSTS???

topic posted Sun, July 18, 2004 - 2:55 AM by  Jonathan
Hey... anybody in here actually interested in DSP stuff?? Heck - I barely know anything about it - but I do have a CSound book I'd like to kind of discuss... and I'm very interested in implementing MusicV on a Mac or NeXT box... just wondering if anyone might be able to chat about such things here...

thanks.

I'd recommend checking out SuperCollider3 (supercollider.sourceforge.net). It is based on the MusicN/Csound style of building graphs of unit generators, but is very flexible as a real time engine. I am using it to create an audio engine for 3D games/simulations and other advanced musicians tools. SC3 is open source and there is more DSP code available there than other places including www.musicdsp.org (though check here too!).
